Welcome to Winsocks, the newest winsock software download site. This site contains links to some of the world's best applications and games. For your convienience, the software is described well, and you will be notified of features such as the compresses archive size. The programs are rated and described, and I hope you can make use of them. The information also tells you the URL of where the file is coming from. I have tried to pick the best download sites, but if there are any broken links, tell me.
Unfortunately, I have not finished the site yet, so please be patient. If you wish, you may sign up to the Winsocks mailing list, and get monthly newsletters describing new software, and information on what's actually hot and what's really not. The signup list is at the bottom of this page.
The software in this site is all Windows '95 (Windows Version 4) and Windows '98 (Windows Version 5). I am hoping to add some Windows NT software in the future.
For now, you can go to the following web sites for shareware and freeware downloads. And be sure to come back and check my web site when it is done. If you don't like it then I'll give you...uh...anyway, just come back soon or you'll be missing out on some of the greatest software the Internet has to offer.
